Owning our STORY
and loving ourselves through that PROCESS
is the BRAVEST thing that we'll ever do.

I’m Jennifer (she/her/hers) –
I bring over 20 years of experience working with children, teenagers, young adults, and families with a variety of behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional challenges.
As a former school counselor, I can provide beneficial information regarding what accommodations or modifications are needed in the school setting to help your child be successful. In a private counseling setting, I can help with behavioral and emotional challenges, including anger, bullying, impulse control, depression, anxiety, peer relationships, and self-regulation techniques.
I am able to help teens steer through some incredibly difficult challenges and offer support for young adults while they face many challenges as they try to navigate life and their many changing roles after high school.
I integrate different therapeutic modalities into my work based on my client's presenting needs. I use Solution-Focused Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Play Therapy techniques, Narrative Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapies.
Additionally, I offer gender-affirming therapy for transgender, non-binary individuals or people anywhere along the gender spectrum as they navigate their very personal road of gender identity. I have experience with clients who are exploring, clarifying, questioning, accepting and/or adapting to their identity. Each client is as unique as gender itself, and I am here to validate, educate, and support the journey.
I believe that we all have the capacity to make positives changes and establish healthy habits for lifetime success. I provide a safe and nurturing environment for my clients to be able to express any and all concerns, fears, and hopes without the fear of judgment.
Need support understanding how your child thinks, feels or acts? I specialize in helping children learn more effective coping methods for their "tool belt," better equipping them with powerful strategies they can use to improve their daily life.
Trying to find your freedom and independence, yet you still struggle with needing guidance? The developmental task of adolescents is to create a sense of identity. Having someone to listen while you express your thoughts and feelings in a neutral and comfortable space can help you move forward happier and healthier. I have extensive experience in supporting families through this difficult stage.
